We share a private downtown parking lot, free of charge for guests to park in just south (behind) our building. Our unloading zone and back entrance allow guests to easily transfer luggage to and from vehicles.

Our Polocies
CANCELLATION
Guests may cancel 48-hours prior to check-in, local hotel time, for full refund. Cancellations after this period are subject to charges equal to one night stay including any applicable taxes and fees. In the event of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable.
TERMS + CONDITIONS
Guests must be 21+ at the time of check-in. Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed and the room may be reassigned.
PETS Unauthorized pets are strictly prohibited and will result in a $200 fee. All pets must be accompanied at all times when they are in the hotel. If you wish to leave your pet alone in your room, you must receive authorization from a staff member beforehand. Your pet must be on a leash when outside of your room. If you choose to violate any parts of this policy or your pet is being disruptive, it may result in the guest and pet vacating the premises with no refund.
Check-in is at 4PM. Guests will receive a key code prior to arrival for the main doors and their guest room. Staff will be available during lobby hours of 6AM to 9PM Sunday-Thursday and 6AM-10PM Friday & Saturday for any questions or assistance with check-in. Check-out is at 10AM.
Parking is always free. The hotel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
Arch + Cable Hotel is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a $250 room cleaning fee.
We want you to enjoy your stay at Arch + Cable but ask you remain respectful of our property. Property damages, professional cleaning, or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value.
As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from.
Arch + Cable Hotel reserves the right to modify or cancel a reservation at any time for any reason. Full payment is required for reservation.

Mankato, MN Boutique Hotel
Our History
Hotel Alexander was originally Mankato's first telephone company building. Rural farmers and businessmen wanted to bring telephone service to our region to conduct more business only a few decades after Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone in 1875 (hence our name).
In 1898, the Mankato Citizens Telephone Company was founded and led by Judge Lorin Cray. They had approximately 700 subscribers upon inception, all with only two or three-digit phone numbers. The building was built in 1945 to expand services, and it was built to last. The property housed telecom infrastructure through the 21st Century for what is now known as Consolidated Communications.
Built to last, the property boasts a fully finished basement with elevator access and three floors of solid brick and Vetter Stone construction. The design gives whimsical nods to its storied past, with phone book wall coverings, antique finds, photo documentary and telephone art installations throughout the bespoke rooms and common areas.
